The York County Democratic Party joins our community, the state of South Carolina, and the nation in mourning the sudden and unexpected passing of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham.

Senator Graham dedicated more than two decades of his life to serving South Carolina in the U.S. Senate. While we often stood on opposite sides of the political aisle, we recognize and respect the deep commitment he brought to his work and his unwavering dedication to the people of this state. His service to our country and his role on the national and global stage were a testament to his enduring influence on American foreign policy.

Our most heartfelt condolences go out to Senator Graham's family, his friends, and all who loved him during this incredibly difficult time. We also extend our sympathies to the people of York County and all South Carolinians who are grieving the loss of a public servant who represented our state for so many years.

As we mourn this loss, we honor his memory and his dedication to public service. We ask that everyone keep his family and loved ones in their thoughts and prayers.
