No Kings 3
Saturday, March 28, 2026
2-4 pm
Dave Lyle Blvd
Between Main and White St
Rock Hill, SC
Have you been to one of the No Kings (or other) protests in Rock Hill? If you have, you know what to expect – a loud, boisterous, non-violent celebration of freedom of speech, with hundreds of people denouncing an authoritarian administration and president that has aspirations of royalty 🚫👑. This event, with lots of advance notice and nationwide publicity, might be the biggest one yet in Rock Hill.
If you haven’t been to one, check out our videos.
Either way, make a sign (or pick one up at the protest) and join us. The official start is 2 pm, but we see people arriving as early as noon. Bring water and sunscreen, but if you forget, it’s available. You’ll probably meet some candidates, YCDP officials, maybe some media, and ‘characters’ (blow-up costumes are popular).
Is it family-friendly?
Some people bring kids who are old enough to appreciate our political environment. It has been safe – there haven’t been any incidents at previous protests in Rock Hill, and the only ‘opposition’ we’ve seen are some trucks rolling through the parking lot with trump flags and some jeers from passing vehicles, and at one event a group of about eight ‘counter protesters’ stood at the edge of the parking lot (no signs, little interaction) – but we can’t guarantee the behavior of ‘the public’. The Rock Hill Police Dept keeps a low profile and have never been hostile to the event. So watch some of the videos and decide for yourself. If you feel it’s not safe enough, do stay home… or just drive by and honk. We love the honks 📯
